Posted By admin On 10/11/19- In the linked post are two download links, the Transit would use the 'Navigation Equipped' link (as I believe Sync3 was only available with Navigation on the Transit). This is a universal update and has supposedly been confirmed to work on quite a few Sync3 equipped vehicles.
- (1) Download the software (only for updating Sync 3 vers.ion 1.0 to version 2.2) to your computer. The software is available from several sources - I got mine from David. (2) Following the Read Me instructions in the download, drag and drop the unzipped file and folder onto an empty 2gb flash drive plugged into your computer.

Ford Mustang GT350 2016 SYNC3 Update:
Step 1:Download the SYNC3 and extracting it on your laptop.
Note:You would better to exatract the files on your laptop,then copy them to your USB hard drive.Don’t extract the files directly into the USB hard drive,otherwise it will give you an error 1983 ford f350 diesel navistar manual download pdf free.
My 2017 came with a Sync 3 running software 2.0 with CarPlay. I tried to update to 2.2 today, but it tells me that 2.0 is the current software.
Step 2:Install SYNC 3 on the vehicle.
Here I wait till it’s warmed up so the Wi-Fi is connected.
Plug the USB to center console
The center console screen will display the USB information “Indexing SONY_16GQ complete”
Updating System Software…
Wait about 15 minutes for system finish download the files
Then,the screen prompt info as below:
Installation Complete
You may now remove your USB device.
Updates will take effect the next time you start your vehicle.
